Kilauea Volcano - 9/2009
Our family took a recent trip to the Big Island, HI. We hooked up with Hawaii Forest and Trail to do a 12 hour tour to the Volcano National Park after attempting to go down the Kona side of the island the day before and having the road closed due to a brush fire. Very disappointing! Best route to volcano is north and down the Hilo side if staying in Kona.
