Just before Christmas, we enjoyed a wonderful tour and hike through the Kohala waterfalls, former plantations, old farm, bridges, canals, and amazing views. Getting to see that side of the island was extra special. And it was something the whole family enjoyed, ages 19 through 50s. Bob Fewell was the best tour guide we ever had. We went on the Waterfall tour. He was so knowledgeable and he was really FUNNY at the same time. We learned a great deal..... it was the highlight of our trip!!! Thanks Bob! Hawaii is lucky they have you.

Kohala Waterfalls 9/2009

We went on the Kohala waterfalls hike and wish to give Mark, our tour guide, many Kudos for his informative narration and peaceful, gentle ways with our group of seniors. We ALL had a great time and would like to again thank him.

Kohala Waterfalls - 7/2009

We just got back from the Big Island, and while we had great fun the entire time, the high point was the waterfall tour. Bob was a great guide. His knowledge of the area and customs was outstanding. Everything was very organized, and the vehicle, though a military 6wd was pretty comfortable. The hike itself was not grueling at all...the girls did it with no worries....some type of water sock type shoe is fine, and is a must since the hike is highlighted by a swim in one...

Kohala Waterfall Adventure - 3/9/2009

Just a note: Went on the kohala waterfalls hike with Joel on Monday and I have to say he made it one of the highlights of our trip! My girlfriend was a little nervous going in as she is a dancer with the radio city rockettes and she didn't want to get hurt but when it was over she wanted to go back again! Thank you! Joel was great and very informative.

Kohala Waterfalls 2/2009

My husband and I were recently in Hawaii with the SuperValue Conference and chose the waterfall hike for our activity. Merritt was our guide. We had the most wonderful experience!! She was able to get us "connected" before the hike began which was fun. She also was a wealth of information!! We learned so much and appreciated the beauty around us and the new information, as well.

Kohala Waterfalls - 11/29/08

We took the Kohala Waterfall Adventure today and had a great time, and much of the credit goes to our guide Nate. He encouraged us to form friendships among each other while proving to be a wealth of knowledge about Hawaiian history, folk lore, customs and everything else related to the Island. We will definitely sign up for another adventure during our next visit to Kona and hope that Nate will be our guide. Maholo.

Kohala Waterfalls - 10-2008

We were on a shore excursion last week and had Mark Frazer as our tour guide. We want to compliment your organization on having such a knowledgable, professional young man on your staff. We were so impressed with his knowledge of the island and more so with his respect for the land. We truley enjoyed talking and listening to him. He far exceeded our expectations for the tour. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.
