Blake left Philadelphia in 1977 to begin his adventurous life. After earning a BA in Geography from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Blake moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and begun whitewater rafting the Snake River in the summer. Winters were spent photographing skiers at the local ski resorts. After 10 years, he decided to take the next step of adventure to Alaska. There, he guided wilderness river, fishing, birding, and wildlife viewing expeditions all over the state, and even into Kamachatka, Russia. Blake relocated to the Big Island in 2000 where he enjoys playing in the warmer water, but still skis and snowboards on Mauna Kea whenever he gets the chance! He loves sharing the wonders of our great planet and the heavens with friends and visitors to the Big Island.
