Jupiter

Coming in at 88,846 miles in diameter, Jupiter is by far the largest planet in our solar system. Being the 5th planet from the sun, and about 1/10 of its size, Jupiter dominates the solar system when it comes to sheer size, and has a volume about 1,000 times that of earth.  Jupiter is orbited by many “moons”; the four largest, Io, Callisto, Europa and Ganymede are often visible through a home telescope.
