Restrictions
- Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is an extremely dynamic volcanic area, volcanic eruptions can start and stop with little warning, we cannot guarantee molten lava viewing, however, if there is an eruption occurring while we are in the park, we will prioritize eruption viewing whenever it is safe and accessible.
- Guests should be able to hike on uneven or rocky terrain. We may encounter cool, wet, or muddy conditions.
- Other restrictions may apply.
Schedule
Morning trips depart from Kona, with convenient pickup locations in Kona, Waikoloa, Waikoloa Village, and Hilo. Tour time is approx. 11-12 hours round trip. Traveling time is approx. 6 hrs from Waikoloa resorts.
